Weight Loss Program
The program I have designed for weight loss is not so much a program as it is a mindset. I do not put much stock in short-term diets but rather seek to find a lifestyle that works for you and is conducive to weight loss and overall health and wellness. I do not, as usual, promise any magic bullets or an easy slide to slimness and the fountain of youth but I believe there are nutritional adjustments and changes we can make that hold much promise.
I believe that an individual approach works best and takes into account your lifestyle which includes family, work, and social aspects. It is also important to consider weight loss from a holistic viewpoint, realizing that our emotional and mental health plays a large part in who we are, what we eat, and how we cope with life.
I tend to steer clear of weight loss medications although I am open to discussing the risks and benefits involved should you decide to go that route or use medications as an adjunct to weight loss.
Some may wonder about my nutritional approach as that is key to weight loss. I do not subscribe to any one strict approach as that tends to not be sustainable, especially in families. However, my approach does lean heavily towards whole foods and low carbs/sugars. This is the most evidenced-based approach I have found and one of the only ways that guarantee weight loss and health and wellness in the long term.
I recommend booking a free 15-minute consult first to see if I can be of assistance. After that we can meet as often as you wish. Some like a monthly check-in, others want and need a more hands-on approach that involves weekly coaching and mentoring. Again, I consider every client an individual case with individual needs and challenges.
